FAQ
File Formats
What types of files can I get?
SVG, PNG, and DXF designs are available in our art space and cater to most of our clients’ needs. High-quality SVG files contain vector-based graphics that you can scale without losing quality. PNG format allows you to create your own designs by combining several of our artworks or adding something else to them. DFX files are compatible with different laser-cutting software and machine types and are ideal for intricate designs on materials like wood, acrylic, paper, leather, etc. We can also provide files in PDF, DWG, JPEG, SCDR, AI, EPS, and PSD formats on request.
Whether you're a seasoned designer or a newbie, our files would be perfect for use in various design software like Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and Inkscape and crafting tools like Cricut Design Space and Silhouette Studio. Answer goes here...
I Can’t Find the File
I didn’t get my files. What to do?
Normally, digital files are ready to download as soon as you purchase them. If you’ve completed the payment and still don’t see the “download” button next to the purchased file, get in touch with us, and we’ll forward them to your email as soon as we get your message. Just make sure you provide the correct email.
I bought the files a few months ago, and now I can't find them on my computer. Could you please send them to me again?
It happens that files can mysteriously wander off on our computers. No worries, though. We’ll be glad to help. To get them back in your possession, we'll need a bit of information from you, such as an approximate purchase date, specific file names or descriptions to locate your purchase faster, and an email to forward those files to you.
About License
I'm just starting my own business and see that you allow the use of images for small businesses. Is this correct?
Starting a business is an exciting journey, and it's crucial to ensure you're on the right track with using images for your business needs. Typically, when you acquire our SVG, DXF, and PNG images or designs, there's a licensing aspect to consider. However, to support small business endeavors and help them grow, we do allow startups and small businesses to use our design without a license for up to 100 sales. More detailed conditions are clearly outlined under all our SVG cut files and designs.
Can I buy a license later when my business grows?
We used to start a business on our own as well. So, being in your shoes, we understand the importance of cost-effective budgeting and welcoming service opportunities at the initial stage. You can download SVGs for a commercial license as soon as you outgrow 100 sales per item. At this point, you can consider buying our Basic or Extended Commercial Licenses at $12 or $30 accordingly.
What is the difference between a Basic License and an Extended License? Is it possible to purchase the basic one first and then the advanced one later?
Our Basic and Extended License Agreements differ in terms of usage rights. The Basic License covers up to 500 sales for one product only. In the meantime, an Extended License entails unlimited use for a number of products, including books, DVDs, bags, cups, stationery, gifts, and posters, as well as for marketing materials. While the Basic license is a good starter point for minimal usage needs, an extended version will better match your scaling efforts. But yes, you can first pay for the Basic License and then, when your business grows, buy an Extended one.
I have purchased a listing. What information must be provided to obtain a license?
To get your newly purchased license properly registered and eligible, you should provide such details as the license type you want to buy, the name to issue an agreement, and an email for us to forward a completed document. You should also provide a link to your online store or social media page where you are going to distribute products with our SVG designs (if you don’t have a website, you can skip this point). Remember to store the license document when you get it.
About Custom Design
Do you only draw portraits of animals?
While animal portraits are one of our specialties, our artistic range extends far beyond that. We offer a diverse collection encompassing a multitude of themes and subjects that cater to varying artistic tastes and preferences. Explore our catalog to discover a range of SVG designs that span across different genres, ensuring there's something for everyone's creative endeavors.
In addition to existing images, you can order a custom SVG design of your pet’s portrait. We can also create a vector portrait of a human, building, or logo based on a photo.
Could you design an animal that is not in your store?
With a whole lot of diverse wild, domestic, and farm animal SVG images in our ever-growing portfolio, we like crafting unique SVG designs. Just send us a picture or photo of your beloved pet, or share your vision with us, describing the specific animal, style, and any other details you have in mind. Our designer team will enjoy the challenge of creating a custom SVG file for you.
I like the picture of a tiger with a bandage on his head, but the color does not match my son's school team colors. Can you change it for me?
You can buy a picture from our wild animals SVG or any other collection, and we then adjust the colors of the elements to your liking. Just let us know the specific colors or color palette you'd like us to incorporate, and we'll tailor the design accordingly. We’ll send the modified file in the required format to your email.
Also, if you use Cricut, Silhouette, Canva, or Photoshop software, you can easily do it yourself, thanks to our adaptable SVG files.
Can you add other accessories (bandana, glasses, bubble gum, flower crown, Santa hat, etc.) to the animal SVG image?
Adding accessories to our unique animal SVG images is a fun and creative way to customize and personalize the artwork. And we're here to make your SVG design exclusively yours by adding those extra touches. So, feel free to purchase a dog SVG file or any other SVG for personal use from our comprehensive collection, and let us know the specific accessories you want to add to the animal image. Our designers will work their magic to seamlessly incorporate those elements.
I am engaged in cutting metal. I like the image of the dog, but I see unattached elements. Can you fix it?
We understand that metal cutting requires the ultimate precision and accuracy. Let us know what artwork with unattached elements you have in mind, and we’ll ensure that this image is perfectly optimized for your metal-cutting work. Besides, we propose you take a look at our rich Laser Cut File collection, where you’ll find a variety of preprocessed digital files for laser cutting that require no further modifications.
Where I Can Use Designs
Can I use the image for a banner, business card, or social network icon? Can I use it as a logo for my farm?
Our high-quality SVG designs are versatile and can be utilized for various purposes. You can create eye-catching banners or incorporate an image into your logo as a unique and visually appealing element. Whether it's for your website, social media profiles, or any other promotional material, our designs are adaptable and can be scaled to fit the dimensions you need without losing quality.
Feel free to personalize the design to reflect the essence of your farm. Whether it's incorporating farm-related elements, adjusting colors to match your brand, or adding text, we’ll customize the design for you. Choose one of the farm animal SVG files from our collection and send it to our email, art4youspace@gmail.com, to make changes.
Can I place designs on a print-to-order website?
Basically, we allow for the use of our SVG designs on print-on-demand platforms like Printiful. You can create unique custom products such as apparel, tote bags, dishes, home decor items, and other accessories for yourself, family, or friends. The same is true for the cases when you use a platform like this as a drop-shipping provider for your online store, subject to having our commercial license. Yet, you are not allowed to place our images as your own on platforms like Zazzle, Spreadshirt, or Redbuibble.
If you need assistance or guidance on our SVG designs for specific applications or have any questions about licensing, we are here to help.
Technical Questions
I can't open the file.
Issues with opening an SVG cut file or any other format can happen due to various reasons, but we're here to help. First and foremost, check if you unzipped the file folder. Then, make sure that the software or program you're using supports the files. If you're still unable to open the file, try it in a different program. Try to update your software or, on the contrary, download the previous version, as certain updates or settings might cause compatibility issues. Should the problem persist, feel free to contact our support team for help.
I don't have a plotter. Can I print the image?
You don't necessarily need a plotter to print our images and can do it in your local printing office or use print-on-order services. You can use high-quality PNG files to print the designs on paper and fabric in sizes up to 20” based on your requirements. If you have specific preferences for the file type or size, feel free to reach out. We're here to ensure you can bring our designs to life through high-quality printing, regardless of the equipment you have available.
Is the animal design in a row a solid design, or is it made up of animal designs that can be separated?
It’s a solid design coming as a unified object. However, you can explore our animal collections and let us rearrange their sequence in a custom SVG file to match your creative requirements. Our aim is to provide versatile designs that cater to your specific needs.
Will these files work for my Silhouette?
Our designs are perfectly compatible with Silhouette machines and Silhouette Studio software, offering you a wide range of possibilities for creating stunning projects. Whether you're working on vinyl decals, paper crafts, or fabric designs, our designs are print-ready. For smooth printing, use DXF files with a free version of Silhouette Studio, and choose SVG files for a paid designer version.
I forgot to check my software compatibility with your files, and I can’t open the SVG. What should I do?
While most design software and some web browsers support SVG files, compatibility issues still occur, and they could be frustrating. Yet, worry not. Check your current software for the last updates, or try to open the file in another program. If it doesn’t work, consider using an online file converter or a conversion tool compatible with your software to convert the SVG file to a different format like PNG, JPEG, or PDF. Or you can just contact us, and we provide you with these file formats.
Others
Are the accessories a part of the animal image, or are they separate elements?
Our designs offer both combined and separate elements, providing flexibility and customization options. Basically, the elements are combined by color. It means that black glasses and a black animal form a cohesive design, while a red kerchief is an individual element that could be detached into a separate SVG file if necessary.
Do you make JEF or PES machine embroidery files?
Our designs are primarily created in SVG format and optimized for vector-based graphic machines. However, we have a partnership with an embroidery digitizing service specializing in converting designs into machine embroidery formats. So, feel free to purchase any of our designs and contact us, and we will convert them into a format compatible with your machine.
What is the difference between SVG files and laser-cut file categories?
SVG cut files and designs contain scalable shapes, detached elements, paths, and colors that retain quality regardless of size adjustments. Customizable and versatile, they are commonly used for digital design applications such as graphic design, illustrations, logos, web graphics, and crafting.
Laser-cut files refer to specific file formats optimized for laser-cutting machines. They contain solid designs with interconnected elements for precise and fine cutting from metal and plywood. Still, these designs can be used for printing and plotter-cutting as well.
If you're in doubt about the suitability of the design for your creative project, feel free to contact us for assistance.
What are designs used for?
Our SVG designs serve a wide spectrum of purposes across digital, print, textile, crafting, commercial, and artistic domains. Adaptable and versatile, they cater to various industries, hobbies, and creative pursuits. You can use them for creating posters, flyers, banners, business cards, stationery, packaging, and other print materials. They are also good for fabric, textile, and ceramic applications, as well as for cutting vinyl decals on Cricut, Silhouette, and Brother Scanncut plotters, engraving, and etching.
In the meantime, laser-cut files are meant for cutting on wood, metal, and plastic using Plasma CNC cutters.
